1996 Honda Civic: Catalytic Converter Replacement For AirCare

Our featured repair today is an AirCare failure on a 1996 Honda Civic. After a thorough diagnosis we found a dead catalytic converter which we replaced with a custom installed Walker Calcat.

These are fabulous converters but are only available as universal converters which require custom installation (cutting, welding and fabricating). The results on the AirCare test sheet speak for themselves.

This vehicle is now putting out 50x fewer pollutants!

By the way these older, mid 90s civics are awesome cars and very reliable. They are almost always worth repairing.
