![]() | So this vehicle came to our shop to have the engine mounts replaced. The owner of the vehicle had just bought the vehicle and he'd been told by Mercedes that the engine mounts were worn out and wanted us to replace it. So ordered the mounts. Drove the vehicle into the shop. Replaced the engine mounts and went for a road test afterwards and noticed an interesting sound coming from underneath the vehicle. Thought maybe, we didn't do the job quite right or something. | Apr 28, 2025 |
![]() | Range Rovers have a very fancy gear shifting knob to put it into drive and reverse, and that unit was malfunctioning from time to time for the client. So it was brought in. We diagnosed it found that the actual unit, the knob that you turn, needed to be replaced. | April 21, 2025 |
![]() | The owner was experiencing some transmission shifting issues and was going on for a while. Sometimes when he'd go to put it in reverse, it would take a while before it went into reverse. There was a delay engaging into gear. And same with forward gears. Worse when it was cold. Sometimes it would miss a shift while you're out driving and it wouldn't shift properly between certain gears. So pretty concerning. And I kind of figured, hey, it's a BMW, there's not a lot of parts available. It'll probably be a transmission replacement if the owner even wants to do it. | April 14, 2025 |
![]() | This vehicle came to our shop, it actually needed a few repairs in a few different areas, but we're going to focus on the rear suspension bushing. So this has a number of bushings in the rear suspension that were worn out and required replacement. There were clunks and a general handling issue at the back. It was time to replace the bushings. | April 7, 2025 |
![]() | So this client called us, a new client to our shop. And he just bought this vehicle recently. He was complaining there's a noise coming from the rear when he was driving it, thought it might be a wheel bearing and brought it in. We authorized a steering suspension inspection on the vehicle, drive train inspection, which is what we normally do to diagnose a noise like that and proceeded to look over the car. | Mar 31, 2025 |
![]() | So this vehicle came to our shop. The owner had called and said, I've got a clanging noise in the front suspension. I think I've got a broken spring. Brought the car in, did an inspection on it and verified that yes, the front left coil spring which is part of the strut assembly was broken. | Mar 24, 2025 |
![]() | The owner of the vehicle called and said, I've got some blue fluid leaking out of my vehicle. And there's really only two kinds of fluid that would be blue from a BMW. One is engine coolant. And the other is window washer fluid, assuming using the antifreeze type. Window washer fluid is a much clearer type of blue. We proceeded to do some diagnostic which includes a pressure test on the cooling system and found a leak. | Mar 17, 2025 |
![]() | The owner was complaining the brakes were grinding. He could hear a noise from the back. So he knew there was something wrong with the back brakes. We did our normal brake inspection that we do, road test the vehicle and put the vehicle on a hoist and look at the brakes fully and in detail. And found the rear brakes were worn metal on metal. So the rear pads were completely worn out and the fronts only had about a couple of millimetres left on the pads, so time to replace the front brakes too. | Mar 10, 2025 |
![]() | This vehicle came to our shop for a couple of items, but one of the items that we found on the vehicle was some suspension issues. We did an A service, oil change, basic inspection, then found some loose ball joints and a couple other items, did a steering suspension inspection. And from that we found that one of the ball joints was loose and worn. | Mar 3, 2025 |
![]() | The owner had a couple of issues with the vehicle and one of them was that the brakes were grinding. So he brought the vehicle in, we did a brake inspection. And found that the front brakes were worn metal on metal, but only one pad was worn severely, badly. The rest were actually still in pretty good shape. | Feb 24, 2025 |
![]() | We had a client who bought a Jag, expensive car, nice model. He bought an extended warranty which was offered when he bought the vehicle. He bought it used. What we found was a clunk in the front end, there was a fluid leak, transmission cooler lines were leaking and there's some worn out suspension bushings, which on this particular vehicle, you had to replace the whole control arm, which was an expensive part. The warranty covered, I think the repairs were a bit under 5,000 dollars, but the warranty covered pretty much 90 percent of the repair. | Feb 19, 2025 |
![]() | This vehicle was towed into our shop it wouldn't start. The owner had complained previous to booking the appointment that sometimes you'd be driving it and it would die and then restart again. But by the time we got it and looked at it, when we turned the key to start, nothing happened. I mean, there were lights on the dash, but no clicks or any activation from the starter. | Feb 10, 2205 |
![]() | This vehicle came to the shop. The owner had a couple of concerns that there was some grinding noise coming from the rear brakes. And he'd also had a left front ball joint come apart on him and he'd repaired it. Not sure if he'd done it himself. I don't know the entire story, probably done himself. Replaced the control arm, the ball joint and the axle, because the axle had been damaged in the process of things coming apart. But there was clunking noises coming from the front left. | Feb 3, 2025 |
![]() | It's hard to believe there's 2006 Smart cars on the road still, but we have a few customers with them and they seem to be working pretty well. So, although this one did come in because it wouldn't start. So sometimes they don't work. Anyways, the owner had it towed in because it would crank over, but the engine wouldn't start. | Jan 27, 2025 |

We also did an A service, oil change, a basic inspection and found some loose ball joints and a couple other items and did a steering suspension inspection. ![]() | This vehicle came to our shop for a maintenance service, couple of other issues. And among the other issues was the check engine light was on. So we did a diagnostic on it. And found that it needed a catalytic converter replacement. | Jan 13, 2025 |
![]() | This vehicle had a check engine light on, we did some diagnostic found a couple of trouble codes related to EGR flow and an intake manifold runner performance issue. These are fairly common codes. We fix these issues a fair amount in our shop. | Jan 6, 2025 |
