The owner was driving the vehicle and the vehicle just died suddenly. The engine just quit. It would restart but had no power. It would barely run. So the vehicle was towed down to our shop.

This vehicle was towed to our shop and it wouldn't start. When you push the button to start it to get the vehicle into the driving mode, everything would turn on, there's a warning on the dash and the EV drive system would not engage.

The air conditioning wasn't working in the vehicle. So the owner brought the vehicle to us to diagnose which we did, found there was no refrigerant in the system. We charged it, partial charge of refrigerant, added some UV dye to the system. So the system is now operating, it wasn't before.

So this vehicle came to our shop with a noise while the owner was driving the truck. His complaint was, he was driving and he could hear this like little tinging sound especially when he would accelerate. It wasn't really loud, but it was there and annoying.

So the owner of this vehicle had noted there was a kind of humming sound when the vehicle was being driven down the road and thought at first it might be the tires. Had the tires changed seasonally, from summer to winter, and the noise seemed to be there still. So knew there was something wrong, brought it in for us to diagnose.

This vehicle came to our shop. The engine was making some noises and the check engine light was on, so we proceeded to do some diagnostics. Noisy engines are an issue with a lot of Land Rover products. Not obviously when you buy brand new, but develops over time. Check engine lights are another thing of course, we fix a lot of.

This vehicle came to our shop with a warning light on the dash saying the vehicle would not start because the DEF system needed servicing. The vehicle was running, he had it at the dealer. They did some work, wasn't overly happy with what they suggested him to do, so he brought it to us. And it was his last drive because after he shut the key off, the vehicle wouldn't start again.

This vehicle came to us with basically a Christmas tree of warning lights on the dash. The vehicle had been at a dealership for a couple of months with some various issues that weren't being solved. The ABS module had been replaced, which is a very expensive part. Still same number of warning lights and they were kind of done with it. So they brought it to us for our expertise.

This vehicle had been sitting for apparently six to eight months. And it would not start because the EV battery was dead. The big drive battery was dead. So the owner towed it to our shop for us to have a look at it.

So this vehicle came to our shop with a few concerns and one of them was oil leakage. So we proceeded to do some diagnostics to figure out where the oil was leaking from. Usually you can't just pop the hood and go, oh, there's the oil leak. I mean, the odd time you can, but usually it involves cleaning, sometimes adding UV dye to the system to find the oil leak. Run it for a while, find out where the oil's coming from and we determined there's two leaks. One from the valve covers and one from the oil pan gasket.

So this vehicle came to our shop to have the engine mounts replaced. The owner of the vehicle had just bought the vehicle and he'd been told by Mercedes that the engine mounts were worn out and wanted us to replace it. So ordered the mounts. Drove the vehicle into the shop. Replaced the engine mounts and went for a road test afterwards and noticed an interesting sound coming from underneath the vehicle. Thought maybe, we didn't do the job quite right or something.

Range Rovers have a very fancy gear shifting knob to put it into drive and reverse, and that unit was malfunctioning from time to time for the client. So it was brought in. We diagnosed it found that the actual unit, the knob that you turn, needed to be replaced.

The owner was experiencing some transmission shifting issues and was going on for a while. Sometimes when he'd go to put it in reverse, it would take a while before it went into reverse. There was a delay engaging into gear. And same with forward gears. Worse when it was cold. Sometimes it would miss a shift while you're out driving and it wouldn't shift properly between certain gears. So pretty concerning. And I kind of figured, hey, it's a BMW, there's not a lot of parts available. It'll probably be a transmission replacement if the owner even wants to do it.

This vehicle came to our shop, it actually needed a few repairs in a few different areas, but we're going to focus on the rear suspension bushing. So this has a number of bushings in the rear suspension that were worn out and required replacement. There were clunks and a general handling issue at the back. It was time to replace the bushings.

So this client called us, a new client to our shop. And he just bought this vehicle recently. He was complaining there's a noise coming from the rear when he was driving it, thought it might be a wheel bearing and brought it in. We authorized a steering suspension inspection on the vehicle, drive train inspection, which is what we normally do to diagnose a noise like that and proceeded to look over the car.

So this vehicle came to our shop. The owner had called and said, I've got a clanging noise in the front suspension. I think I've got a broken spring. Brought the car in, did an inspection on it and verified that yes, the front left coil spring which is part of the strut assembly was broken.

The owner of the vehicle called and said, I've got some blue fluid leaking out of my vehicle. And there's really only two kinds of fluid that would be blue from a BMW. One is engine coolant. And the other is window washer fluid, assuming using the antifreeze type. Window washer fluid is a much clearer type of blue. We proceeded to do some diagnostic which includes a pressure test on the cooling system and found a leak.

The owner was complaining the brakes were grinding. He could hear a noise from the back. So he knew there was something wrong with the back brakes. We did our normal brake inspection that we do, road test the vehicle and put the vehicle on a hoist and look at the brakes fully and in detail. And found the rear brakes were worn metal on metal. So the rear pads were completely worn out and the fronts only had about a couple of millimetres left on the pads, so time to replace the front brakes too.

This vehicle came to our shop for a couple of items, but one of the items that we found on the vehicle was some suspension issues. We did an A service, oil change, basic inspection, then found some loose ball joints and a couple other items, did a steering suspension inspection. And from that we found that one of the ball joints was loose and worn.

The owner had a couple of issues with the vehicle and one of them was that the brakes were grinding. So he brought the vehicle in, we did a brake inspection. And found that the front brakes were worn metal on metal, but only one pad was worn severely, badly. The rest were actually still in pretty good shape.

We had a client who bought a Jag, expensive car, nice model. He bought an extended warranty which was offered when he bought the vehicle. He bought it used. What we found was a clunk in the front end, there was a fluid leak, transmission cooler lines were leaking and there's some worn out suspension bushings, which on this particular vehicle, you had to replace the whole control arm, which was an expensive part. The warranty covered, I think the repairs were a bit under 5,000 dollars, but the warranty covered pretty much 90 percent of the repair.

This vehicle was towed into our shop it wouldn't start. The owner had complained previous to booking the appointment that sometimes you'd be driving it and it would die and then restart again. But by the time we got it and looked at it, when we turned the key to start, nothing happened. I mean, there were lights on the dash, but no clicks or any activation from the starter.

This vehicle came to the shop. The owner had a couple of concerns that there was some grinding noise coming from the rear brakes. And he'd also had a left front ball joint come apart on him and he'd repaired it. Not sure if he'd done it himself. I don't know the entire story, probably done himself. Replaced the control arm, the ball joint and the axle, because the axle had been damaged in the process of things coming apart. But there was clunking noises coming from the front left.

It's hard to believe there's 2006 Smart cars on the road still, but we have a few customers with them and they seem to be working pretty well. So, although this one did come in because it wouldn't start. So sometimes they don't work. Anyways, the owner had it towed in because it would crank over, but the engine wouldn't start.

This vehicle had a check engine light on, we did some diagnostic found a couple of trouble codes related to EGR flow and an intake manifold runner performance issue. These are fairly common codes. We fix these issues a fair amount in our shop.
